PadBot Robotics Showcases AI-Powered Service Robots at CISMEF 2026

On September 3, the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) opened in Guangzhou, bringing together innovative companies and technologies from around the world. PadBot Robotics was selected to join the Guangdong delegation in the Specialized and Innovative Enterprises exhibition area, while also showcasing its embodied AI solutions across the fair.

With this year's focus on AI empowering small and medium-sized enterprises, PadBot demonstrated how artificial intelligence can move beyond software and become part of real-world business operations through intelligent service robots.

From AI Technology to Real-World Applications

CISMEF is one of China's major international platforms dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises. This year's event brought together more than 2,000 companies from over 40 countries and regions, with a strong focus on AI adoption, digital transformation, industrial innovation, and collaboration.

For SMEs, AI is increasingly becoming a practical productivity tool rather than simply an emerging technology. Embodied AI robots provide a physical platform for bringing that intelligence into offices, industrial parks, commercial facilities, and other operational environments.

For PadBot Robotics, the exhibition was an opportunity to demonstrate how AI-powered robots can perform real tasks and support businesses seeking more automated and efficient operations.

AI + Robotic Patrol: Smarter Security Coverage

A key highlight was PadBot's intelligent security portfolio featuring the PadBot S5 Outdoor Security Patrol Robot, PadBot S2 Indoor Security Patrol Robot, and PadBot G2 Quadruped Patrol Robot.

Unlike conventional security systems that primarily rely on fixed cameras, mobile patrol robots can actively move through designated areas while continuously monitoring their surroundings.

The three platforms are designed for different environments. S2 focuses on indoor facilities, S5 extends autonomous patrol to large outdoor areas, while G2's quadruped mobility enables patrol and inspection across more complex terrain.

Powered by AI-based recognition technologies, PadBot's security robots can support the detection of nine categories of potential safety risks, including smoke, abnormal temperatures, and excessive noise, with multi-level alerts for different situations.

Additional capabilities include scheduled and waypoint patrols, HD video monitoring, intelligent alerts, autonomous navigation, and remote management. The robots can also integrate with smart building and security systems, helping operators visualize patrol information and manage security operations more efficiently.

For offices, industrial parks, commercial complexes, and other large facilities, this AI + mobile robotics approach can reduce repetitive manual patrol work while extending security coverage and supporting faster response.

Smarter AI for Reception and Visitor Services

AI integration at PadBot extends beyond security.

At CISMEF, the PadBot X3 Reception & Guide Robot demonstrated how large language models can enhance human-robot interaction. By combining AI language models, natural language understanding, multimodal perception, and autonomous navigation, X3 can communicate with visitors, answer questions, provide information, and autonomously guide them to designated locations.

This represents an important shift in commercial robotics: from robots that simply execute predefined commands to intelligent service platforms capable of understanding requests and taking appropriate physical actions.

PadBot continues to integrate AI, large language models, autonomous navigation, and multimodal perception across its robot portfolio, strengthening the complete perception–understanding–decision–action workflow.

Helping SMEs Put AI to Work

As a nationally recognized Specialized and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise, PadBot Robotics remains focused on turning advanced AI technologies into practical commercial robot solutions.

Its participation at CISMEF 2026 was not only an opportunity to showcase new technologies, but also to connect with businesses, industry partners, and organizations exploring AI-driven transformation.

As AI adoption accelerates, PadBot Robotics will continue developing embodied AI solutions that help businesses move from “using AI” to “putting AI to work”—bringing intelligent robots into real operational environments where they can create measurable value.
